New Music just purchased!  An exciting new musical year!

Choir rehearsals begin again on Wednesday, August 31 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the Sanctuary after a summer of joining the Bible study group to study  Songs My Grandma Sang by Bishop Michael Curry.   It was a great experience of fellowship, inquiry, and shared wisdom that seemed so relevant to our parish and our times from all who participated.

The choir also sang several Sundays with Mr. Joseph Wiley and for Ivanna Kenny Carmola’s organist debut, and again in celebration for Jamaican Independence.    We have had a busy summer!

But we begin a new year with new music!  Here are the items we have just purchased from Lorenz Publishing company.      Also, all of these are arranged for a small choir like ours.

SAB Choir Magazine Subscription    — this is a magazine subscription that will come 4 times this year with 8-10 selections for SAB (Soprano, Alto, and Baritone).
And then these specific pieces from the  publisher’s Singable Solutions for Small Choirs were also ordered.  You can click on the link, and actually listen to the entire piece to get familiar with it.
